Hornbill Supportworks SQL Injection - ReactionIS Web Application Penetration Testing
Summary
Web application penetration testing by ReactionIS revealed a SQL injection vulnerability in the ITSM component of Hornbill's Supportworks Application. The vulnerable file is calldiary.php found in the /reports folder of the webroot. The following URLs (depending on ITSM version) will exploit a SQL injection in the file and dump the mysql usernames and passwords

- Vendor response: The vendor claims this issue has now been fixed but refused to give version details. Update 30/4/2013 - the vendor has now released fixed version details (>3.4.14) and urges customers to contact them directly for a patch.

Web application penetration testing by ReactionIS revealed a SQL injection vulnerability in the ITSM component of Hornbill's Supportworks Application. The vulnerable file is calldiary.php found in the /reports folder of the webroot. This attack can be used to take full control of the host by writing a php webshell document (using mysql ‘into outfile’) to the webroot. The following URL is vulnerable to SQL injection:
